Every project or idea starts with hello. Whether you’re looking to commission an illustration, collaborate on a full-scope project, or explore licensing options, the best way to start a conversation is by reaching out. As a one-person studio, I work on a limited number of projects at a time to give each one the focused, creative attention it deserves. If we feel like a match, I’ll guide you through the simple steps to reserve your project on my calendar. Rush projects are accepted by approval. In this case, if you have a time sensitive deadline, please reach out asap and I can you know my availability.
For smaller projects, we’ll align on a creative brief beforehand. Larger projects have the opportunity for us to collaborate on a creative kickoff featuring inspiration and mood boards. Whether light and playful or deep and detailed, this part is tailored to your style and vision.
With inspiration aligned and goals in place, the creative work begins. I typically start with concept sketches—sometimes one, sometimes a few—depending on your project’s scope, budget, and needs. Every project is unique, so this phase is flexible by design, allowing room to explore ideas and bring your vision to life, step by step.
Once we’ve honed in on your favorite direction, we’ll collaborate to refine the design—tweaking details, exploring options, and polishing everything until it’s just right. You’ll receive updated proofs along the way and have the chance to give final approval before we wrap and prepare for delivery.
Once your designs are finalized and approved, I’ll package everything up for a smooth, stress-free handoff. Files are organized and delivered digitally, ready for use. If your project includes print materials, I can prep everything to print-ready specs, so you’re fully set.
