Welcome to my studio, a creative playground where illustration and design intertwine.

My work is rooted in the belief that images can help people understand, feel, and remember things more deeply than words alone. I bring together illustration and design to create visuals that are not only expressive, but purposeful and clear.

Whether it’s a brand finding its visual voice, a publication bringing a story to life, or an idea that needs shape and clarity, I approach every project with curiosity and care. My background in both illustration and design allows me to think about each piece not just as an image, but as part of a larger visual system. Over the years, I’ve learned the best work comes from collaboration and trust. With a close ear and curious mind, I translate ideas into beautiful visuals that feel honest, thoughtful, and alive.

Illustration has the beautiful capability to soften complex ideas, invite people in, and create moments of connection. Design gives that power direction—helping each piece communicate clearly and live seamlessly in its intended space. If that’s the kind of work you’re looking for, I’d be delighted to hear from you and explore what we might make together.

“Sierra has been the perfect addition to our brand. Her charming yet sophisticated art caught my attention quite quickly and I knew she would be such a perfect fit for Once Upon a Puzzle. She delivered high quality work with such intention and grace. From formulating the idea, to sketches and to the final product, she made this a step by step process that was not only inclusive of my opinions but also very enjoyable. She met all deadlines and went above and beyond by providing me with various options that I may enjoy. She took feedback and altered anything I needed altered in such a timely fashion. I hope to work with Sierra again in the near future.”

Questions

Are you available to work on my project Immediately? Possibly! Availability depends on my current project schedule. To get a sense of timing, please reach out with a brief description of your project, along with any important deadlines. From there, I can follow up with questions, availability, and potential timelines.

What are your starting rates or typical pricing? Pricing depends on project type, scope of work, timing and usage rights for the artwork. Most projects begin around $1,000 USD with final estimates varying based on revision rounds, licensing type, and overall scope. I provide tailored quotes for each project and aim to work collaboratively to find a balance that fits the project’s goals, budget, and timeline.

What is your creative process and collaboration style? My process is thoughtful, collaborative, and iterative. I work closely with partners to develop ideas, refine direction, and create work that feels both intentional and visually strong. Each project is a little different, but communication, clarity, and kindness are always at the center of how I collaborate.

What is the typical timing for a commission? Timelines depend on the scope and complexity of the project. Many commissions take about one month or more from kickoff to final delivery, though this can vary. When we begin discussing your project, I’ll help outline a timeline that aligns with both the creative process and any key deadlines.

How does payment typically work? Project agreements and invoices are handled through Square, with payment available via credit card or direct transfer unless otherwise arranged. Specific payment terms – such as deposits or milestone payments – are outlined in the project agreement before work begins.
